Trying since long:Multivitamin drops for my 8 months old son..
2015-10-25
Name: Kanika

Hi,

Every doctor recommended different drops for my 8 months old son. I am very confused.

At present, I am giving A to Z drops, CalshineP for vit D, Raricap for Iron, Calcimax P for calcium. Doctor also recommended Zincovit drop.

Please suggest what are good and what are not.

Hi Kanika, i would say as your doctor has told you to give this medication to your kid now. Go ahead and give. See if you are able to see any change in the health if not change the doctor.

Hi Kanika, try giving what doctor has told you for sometime and see if there is any change in the vitamin level. It will take atleast 1 months time so wait and see if it is helping you.

Are all these drops for different things or the same thing? I mean to ask that has the doctor been changing your son's medicine or all of these drops are for different purpose like one for iron one for calcium, etc.?

If the doctor has prescribed these drops then there might be some reason behind it. If you have any doubts about them you should ask him and clear everything out so that there is no problem. All ask him which drops are better.

Hello Kanika,
It would be better you need to consult to the doctor before feeding any food item to the baby so that you will come to know what can be feeded and what not.I wish you would do it and let us know also.

why are you consulting multiple doctors at first place? are you not satisfied with one doctor who knows your case history? pls continue with only one doctor so your baby can get proper and correct treatment. and every doctor have different study and according to that they give you medicines. sometimes it also happens that medicine is the same only company changes so continue with only one doctor for all the treatment for your baby.
