Feeding:pls comment on the diet of my 18 month old dd

Hello all,

My daughter who is currently 9kgs , 18 months age has the following diet schedule:

Morning : Breast Milk at 7 am

sleeps at 8.30am

Breakfast at 11 am: Oats porridge or roti soaked in milk and mashed or egg yolk and ragi porridge or dalia porridge

1.30pm : breast milk

Lunch at 2.30pm : Khichdi cooked in ghee made of 1-1/2 tablesppon of raw kolam rice and 1-1/2 tblspn of raw mixed dals plus 2-3 different kinds of vegs like palak, peas, french beans doodhi etc (ccooked quantity is 3/4 bowl of mashed khichdi) IT TAKES 1 HR TO FEED THIS KHICDI TO HER

sleeps at 4 pm
wakes up at 6.30pm

Evening at 6.45pm: mashed 2 small eliachi bananas or papaya puree or papaya and eliachi banana puree or fig and eliachi banana mashed

8.30pm: 1 laughing cow cheese cube or cerelac

10.30pm : little khicdi or chapati(1/4th)

11.45pm : put her to sleep

She does not like to eat early mornings so her eating starts only from 11 am onwards.

Please comment on her calorie intake and how to increase her weight. Please suggest new food ideas .

Madhu - The diet looks good...I see no reason why u shd worry...if ur baby is active and is eating wht all u have metioned..dnt bother toomuch.
I see u are giving her dinner at 10:30 pm...is that the normal dinner time at ur place..in any case its too late for ur baby. at 830 u give her cerelac then why do u feel the need of khichdi n chapati at 1030? Instead at 830 give her dinner and at 1030 give some milk n put her to sleep.
also eating less lunch mite be due to the fact that she is having milk at 130..why not give her lunch at 2ish...instead?
Just my thots but u need to space out the meals so that she is hungry enuf to eat and dont try too hard to give her everything in one day :) I knw being a mom u wd want to.
