Hi,
My one year old is alergic to cow's milk. Her doctor advised for soy milk. Does anybody has this problem? I am breasfeeding her and I want to wean her but afraid how would she react on soy milk.

Try soy formula (available for toddlers) even my 1 yr old is alergic to milk and milk products i started with soy milk first then came to know of soy formula. initially i forced him little bit and now he is ok with that.

Hi,
Soymilk is a very high protein food,I myself is taking it.I don't know a baby's reaction to it.As your dr. advised you to give it,don't worry,give a little bit and see what her reaction is. Did the Dr. told you which one to use? plain as well as different flavours(vanilla etc)are available.

Thanks for the input. I would really try giving my daughter soy milk. We eat tofu, but never tried soy milk. Again thanks.
