Hi Jichi,
Thanks for replying. Your baby seems to be doing great. Ranay is 13lbs.4ozs , we went for his 4 months check Saturday, I guess I have a little guy here. He is getting so cute now, he smiles at everyone and yesterday tried to lift his whole body, I think he wants to come out of his swing!! I am not sure but I think he is teething or something now, he drools a lot and has a little swelling on the gums. Poor guy is having a hard time.

Hi Jichi and Neetu

How are you? My son is now 4 mts old. I was wondering what kind of formula intake your babies are getting?
I am extremely worried, my son takes about 1 1/2 hrs to take 4 ozs. I am lucky if he even gets 20-22 ozs a day. It's frustrating because I am calling my sitter 10 times from work asking how much he drank? how much juice he took? etc.
I also give him a stage 1 gerber fruit jar when I come home but lately he's been absolutely refusing the bottle, meaning his last feed is at 7.00 p.m when the sitter leaves. The doctor tells me it's OK, he'll eat when he's hungry, but i'm still worried.
Tell me about your schedules and also how many pounds are your babies now?

Take Care
Karuna

dear karuna,

am giving formula twice a day for abhi. regarding formula, am giving him 5 oz per feeding and he takes hardly 5 to 10 mintues to finish that.

he is having his cereal once and ofcourse gerber 1st food - fruit in the morning and vegetable in the evening. all the other times he is breast feed. he had 4 oz till two weeks back. after that he started to cry after feeding and i increased 1 oz. so my prediction is he is having 5-6 oz breast milk per feeding. am feeding him 4-5 times a day apart from formula and cereals.

i havent checked his weight after 4th month check up. during that time he weighed 15 lbs. will know abt his weight during his 6th month appt next week.

I think you should wait till Abhishek is 6 months before introducing cheese..paneer which we make in India is I think best suited. I haven't started for Angad yet. Tell me Jichi have you increased soild feeds for Abhi. Angad has started creeping and sittin with the support of cusions and sometimes with his hands too. Infact now he is getting quite inquisitive plus makes his requirement known by makin these sounds... How is Abhi doing?

love Neetu

Dear neetu,

abhi is also shows many signs when he is hungry. he will do some twists and turns. heis notsleeping early nowadays. he sleeps around 12-1 and gets up at 9. he needs to be feed two to three times.
i havent increased the feed yet. thinking to start after he is 6 months. planned to start giving cereals 2 times and to add yogurt to his foods.
with love,
