hai dear,
This is very simple. Boil the milk and in lukewarm condition add two green chillis by tearing it into two with its head intact. and store in warm place where the fermentation can take place after 12 hours your loving good fresh curd is ready.

Hi,
You can boil milk and cool it.After it is cooled put little bit of plain yogurt or sugarfree yogurt a teaspoonful and stir it well keep it in a warm place.Next morning it will be set as curds.(If the weather is too cold keep it infront of a room heater).

Hi,

You could try using dry lactobacillus powder available at chemist shops. boil and cool milk till slightly warm. Add about 1 tsp of the powder (experiment with the quantity of powder)per 1 liter of milk. Leave for 6-8 hrs and dont move the vessel in the mean time. All the best

Hi Sha,
One idea I have heard from my friend 2-3 days back. I have not tried it yet; but if you want give it a shot.
Take one coconut. Remove the coconut and take approx 1 to 2 inch of the wood (not Coconut, the outer layer of it, hard wood which we throw away) Clean that piece very thoroughly. Boil milk; when its warm put that wood piece in it.
Then as mentioned above, you can keep it in oven or you can keep near your cooking range; so while you are cooking it will get its heat which helps making yogurt fast. NOTE: Don't open it often to check if its done. Give it few hours.

Good luck.

i cant help you anything with chinese.but ask some of your indian friends to tell you how to select yougurt that is plain and has live and active cutures.
then boil milk and cool down till it is slightly warm then throughly mix in the curd and keep inside your oven because temp inside oven will be warmer than outside.but DONT TURN ON your oven.it will take more than 8 to 10 hrs for yougurt formation.
