The story so far .....
We got married in FEb 2009
For a couple of years we were not able to consummate our marriage as I was not able to penetrate
We were too shy to ask for guidance from family ,friends
But still we were not very tensed as were in no hurry to start a familymy wife was still to complete
her CA studies.
I do not remember the exact date but it was about 2 years after our marriage that one fine day ( or shall i say night)
I successfully inserted into her and hence having our first \" relation\"
We both did not have a very heavy drive and used to enjoy this every few days
We used oil or the condom for lubrication
Then we thought about planning for a baby and did not use protection.
We did not know much about how to go about for a baby and thought it would happen.
We used to have intercourse around her fertile days but nothing happened in two three months
Forgot to mention that my wife had irregular periods sometimes it came after 40 days too
In the meanwhile she had been asked to do a sonography by the doctore she was consulting for her hairfall problems.
The sonography showd that she had PCOD which may hamper conception.
It was then that we first visited a gynaec.( Aug 2012)
She was then given some medicines and asked to do hormone test the results of which were normal.
I too was asked to do SA ( 9 sep 16mil / 10 motility 3 Oct 28mil / 5 motility)
I too was given some medicines to increase the motility.
Her MC did not come for about 40 days in Dec and then we decided to a pregnancy testresult negative
That month she had observed spotting for a few days before the test.
We were quite passive in Jan - Feb as there were a lot of family functions.
Then she was asked to do a follicular study in the month of march couple of follicles 18MM ,ovulated on 18th day
We were trying naturally but still no luckjust my wife was given Evatone tablets to induce ovulation
She did not get her periods in May and got them in June first week.
Seeing my low motility doctor suggested another round of SA this time it was 60 mil but motility 5 only.
Seeing the low motility doctor suggested IUI for us and accordingly wife was asked to go for follicular.
Also I was given a couple of tablets ( NE Forte and Fertisure) to increase motility
She ovulated around 23 June ( Two follicles size abt 19 MM) and we had our IUI on Monday 24 June
At an abstinence of days these were th enumbers for sperm used for washing
1ml volumeliquefication time 10 mins count :
Pre wash Post wash
Count 34mil 20mil in 0.5 ml
Motility 35 82
total motile sperm 12mil in ejaculate 8mil in 0.5 ml
Much to our disappointmentshe had her MC on 11July and starightaway we visited our doctor
She told us to not get dissapointed and gave ovulation inducing tablets to my wife and suggested follicular
Even I was asked to get a Semen analysis done to check the motility and if we require another IUI
Just today I had my semen analysis doneawaiting results
