It' s hard enough raising one baby, you' re raising two at the same time. It' s tiring and frustrating at times. So, don' t worry, you' re doing just fine.

Boys tend to be very fussy. So, it' s naturally more frustrating. My son was so troublesome, he' s 16 months old now, and STILL IS.

Now that they' re 8 months old, make sure they get 3 square meals a day, in addition to formula. What ever milk they are having is fine. After age 1 year, they should have milk twice a day, 3 square meals, and 2 snacks in a day.

For now: At age 8 months, you can give them milk in the morning 7 - 8 a.m.

Then at 10 when they wake, give them breakfast: Give any of the following with milk: (Rice cereal / Ragi / Sooji / Porridge / Idli / Scrambled egg).

For lunch you can give: 1/2 to 1 katori of: (Roti / Rice + Dal / Veggies / Chicken / Fish / Chicken Broth / Egg)

At 2:30 give milk

At 05:30 you can give them milk as you do + Gerber fruit and 4 tbsp cereal

At 7 p.m. give them dinner (same as lunch)

At 10 p.m. milk and sleep.

The feeding drama still goes on with my son. He won' t even drink milk. He just wants to eat plain rice. Nothing else. It' s ridiculous. But, what to do. I have just started PediaSure powder. It is supposed to be a milk based drink which provides the full required intake for babies. You can start that as soon as they complete 1 year old.

You can gradually start introducing snacks like cheese, boiled carrot or potato sticks, fruit chunks, bread sticks, toast, etc.

Hang in there. They will turn out fine. Focus on increasing your son' s weight. My son was a bit underweight too, but very active. I used to give him a little ghee mixed with his lunch and dinner.

All the best.
