Thanks Gauri..wat all u have written I am already doing in the same way...now he was quite fine since last two wks after his medicine done so yesterday I gave him milk and today morning he has loose stools..we went to the lab for the stool test done...it was in my mind that plain milk does not suit him and I told to teh doc also...surprisingly i give him daliya, suji kheer, oatmeal with milk he is very much fine with that but as soon as I started givin him milk he will have loose stools... I tried yesterday also to see if I am wrong but then see again loose stools...lets see we will get the reports in the evening....I too avoid sugar...I used to give him milk without sugar earlier....one thin more my mil was saying sometimes milk does not work well during nite i don´ t 9 how far it is true...

Milkshakes again does not suits him :(

Hi Sonia,
you toddler knows what he wants.thats good.he is eating paneer which is protien, he is eating banana..which is carbohydrates.he is eating peas which is fibre..what more is there to worry????? just relax ..remember toddlers never starve..they know when they are hungry..you know banana increases weight..let him have as many ..do not restrict.Apple jam indeed is a great idea!!!i suggest you try veg fried rice in which you can give many veggies.
till 24 months old concentrate on giving fat in his diet...this is rainy season and many doctors advise to skip veggies as they may be infested..like spinach etc..so dont worry give him Full fat milk, paneer, cheese, bread, ghee, avocado ...ok.dont be in a rush...kids will develop liking towards veegies when they grow up.
bye

thanks for ur instant reply..i was worried about sugar..at this age do we restrict on sugar..the main prob is that I am not givin him milk since last 2 months after his stomach infection after that when I started giving him milk he will get loosemotions and this holds tru for only plain milk otherwise i give him curd twice and have him oatmeal, rice kheer and in any other form ..this suits him strange na but this is happening with him..now I had started givin him milk in small quantity and that too on alternate days...
u 9 wat i 9 veggies in rice is a gr8 idea but the prob with him is he does not like to have a look at rice ..khana to door ki baat hai :) but as u said bade hoge o sab kha lege :) thanks
