Name: anju singh can anyone tell me that my son who is 7 month odl is not eating thru spoon anything I am making puree and mixing with breast milk and then filling it up in the bottle nad he is taking nicely.Yesterday i tried to give him thru spoon he vomit.above all if he takes from spoon he will only take 1 tea spoon otherwise in the bottle heis taking full banana ,MAngpo etc.Insteda of water in the bottle i am mixing this purees and then adding same amount of formula.pls suggets am i doing right.his weihht is 10 kgs ta the age of 7 months.also pls tell me how to improve his complexion a she is dark form body.[pls help meis desi ghee useful for the complexion.

hi, you know your baby to the best. you have tried giving him with spoon which he didnt accept, which shows that he is not ready for spoon feeding. now how about this, if he is taking bottle, try sippy cup ! however babies below 8 months are unlikely to accept sippy cup but it has always been different for all babies... atleast by introducing to the sippy cup, you will be able to wean him to sippy cup from bottle.he will take a while to accept that ! give him time to play with it.
also, try gving food with little baby spoons. they are very small and its content is very very less.still if he chokes,,,go slow with it,,give 1/4th of that little baby spoon.. my dd previously didnt accept spoon when i introduced her..i started her finger feed,clean the finger, dip it in the food, and then give her in mouth ! slowly i took her to spoon,,by increasing the amt that sticks in the finger !
the weight of your baby is great ! no worries...
try making the purees abit thick than thin,,also let him try a while to suck it hard..some babies get tired of sucking it hard, when they dont succeed and when you give him little amount in spoon, they take it ! because they are hungry !!!
