Hi all,

I have few queries w.r.t food for my daughter who is 13 months old.

1. Can I give Nestle curd or outside branded curd available in India to my daughter?

2. I want to start giving paneer to her. She has just 5 teeth (front). Any recipes in this regard are most welcome.
Can i use paneer which is available in the market in India?

3. I tried the recipe for eggs given by aarti. The result turned out to be like crumbled paneer in texture. Is this the right way to cook egg yolk and egg white or it should be semi solid in consistency????????

Any recipes that will help in weight gain for my daughter are most welcome.

Thanks a lot.

Yes, you can give her Nestle, Amul ot other branded curd. You can cook paneer as you do for the rest of the family... just keep the salt and spice less, then crumble the paneer and give it to her with rice or roti. Yes, you can use commercially available paneer. (Although paneer won' t help her gain weight... curds is a little more fatty... try to include both).
When you cook eggs, it should be crumbled in appearance (which means it' s well cooked). If it is semi solid, then it isn' t cooked thoroughly and can cause an infection. If you want a semi solid consistency, you can try an egg recipe that is made with milk.
