You might not like to hear this but babies as young as 7months needs nothing but milk. Milk gives them everything they need, maybe her taste buds for solids are not developed.
My daughter was exactly the same only BM, no formula very less solids and no bottle. It was hard as you say, and I hardly went out. But by 1 year everything changed, she took bottle has solids too.

SO your child is behaving exactly like how she should behave. When I read your message, I felt she is talking of me , fewmonths back and felt like sharing my experience

Just give her what she asks , everything will work out soon

Hi Pallavi
Dont stress yourself like this. I can understand what you are going thru. Yeah, we all new moms now realize that bringing up kids is really tough. Believe me its just a phase and it has to pass.
Now, regarding bottle - My son at that age did not accept bottle. I tried all the possible brands. But that was not the brand issue, because once he got the trick to suck, all brands were same for him. I tried pacifier. I used to put pacifier in his mouth and once he is happily sucking on that, slowly slide the bottle in.
Having said that, i see that your kid is already 7 months old. She should have started sitting or atleast holding her head stable. Why dont you give a shot to a sippy cup. I got a Nuby sippy cup when I first introduced it. This cup had a soft mouth, you know, something like a bottle nipple.
Regarding food - Till one year, your main concentration should be on milk and solids are just to develop the taste buds. I got to know from this forum that till 1 year the baby should drink 1 litre of milk daily. For solids, I will just say, keep trying, dont get frustrated. I know thats tiring. I have also seen the days when I threw away my son' s food and his plates in dustbin because he would not eat. I also cried. But believe me, all this wont help at all. If she does not eat, just dont force her. She has to eat one day.
Most importantly, keep yourself calm. Ask your husband to take care of the kid for couple of hours on weekend and you go to a parlour, or shopping or whatever is your favourite activity.
Take care
MG

HI
I can understand what you are going through. My baby too never took to formula and bottle feeding. It was difficult for us too, to move out.Try feeding her formula with spoon..thats what i did.BUt that too she hardly took 2 oz.I gave her solids 4 times a day at 7 months as said by my doc.Though she did' t like it we tried new tricks everyday to make her eat.Thankfully she is over the phase now and eats food well.SHe is 17 months old now.I know frustating it gets at time,HAve patience and be calm.Tell ur hubby or someone else to bottle feed her.One more thing ,strangely my baby tookbottle feeding whenver we took her out.BUt she took only juice in bottle and only sometimes she took milk.As my daughter didn' t take formula my doc advised to give cow' s milk to her.So try giving cow' s milk to her.Hope this helps
