Hi,
Should the child sleep along with you and your husband or is it better to keep the baby in his crib? Please do advice. Would it impact the husband-wife relationship if the new born sleeps with the parents? Till what age have you had your new-born sleep with u?

I think the child shud always sleep in a crib, when our son, now 8 mths old, used to sleep with us , I always had backaches and never cud cuddle into my husband, Also the kid would move around so much in sleep that he wud always wake up in the opposite direction than which he slept in. We both had to be careful iof not pressing his feet or hands, So we bought a crib which I keep just next to the side of my bed. Now he sleeps peacefully, between pillow. When he cries in the night, I pick him up and feed him and again put him back to sleep in the crib.Sometimes he wants to sleep next to me, I let him sleep as we can't be harsh at all times, but mostly he sleeps in the crib only. During the day also he sleeps in the crib as it is very safe and he can't roll over. Also crib is very helpful; as my baby has learnt to stand holding the grills of the crib which is great for me.

As long as all of you get good sleep, whether your baby sleeps in crib or with you shouldnt matter.

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
