Sleeping:SLEEPING PROBLEMS

My son is 7ms and he insists on beening brest feed every time he wants to sleep. I have tried putting him in the swing or cradle but he just starts crying or playing. His sleeping pattern is also very irregular.

Subject:  Try to change his habit

My daughter, who is now 6 months old, had the same habit . But as I had to go for job..we gave her bottle of milk keeping her head on one side and gave her practice of sucking the milk from the bottle. she got used to it in a week's time. But never give him empty bottle or just the nipple, as there are chances that air will go in his stomach.I used the imported bottle which comes with a cap inside which does not allow the extra air to go inside the stomach.

All the best.

All the best.

Subject:  sing for him in cradle

Hi,
My son who is now 9 mths old also had the same problem.but as i had to resume wk when he was 6 mths old , i had to make him develop the habit of sleeping without me.
just try to keep him in a cradle and talk to him or sing to him.
he'll just not sleep right away but gradually he will.
dont pick him up if he cries and give in to his screams.slowly he 'll adjust.
give him something to chew on in the cradle that 'll keep him busy but keep an eye on him and remember to take it out of his mouth after he sleeps.
i used to give my son carrot cause he loves it.

i hope this helps.

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
