Hi Sowmya..dont worry..there are lot of iron rich food that you can take on a daily basis which should fill that gap..things like cereals, green leafy vegetables, legumes, nuts, oilseeds, jaggery and dried fruits. If you are a non-vegetarian, eat liver, meat, poultry and fish.
Also there are somethings called as Iron Absorption Enhancers which helps in absorbing the iron to the body, like:
Meat/fish/poultry
Fruits: Orange, Orange Juice, cantaloupe, strawberries, grapefruit etc
Vegetables: Broccoli, brussels sprouts, tomato, tomato juice, potato, green & red peppers

All the best and take care..
