Hi Girls,

Looks like the group has grown multifold since I joined! Initially there were just 4-5 of us and not much communication. But good to see the group is buzzing with activity.

Lemme intro myself - I am Anu, based in California, US. I have a 4 year old son and hoping I have a girl this time - although my son and hubby want a boy again! Well, we are finding out tommorrow. so very excited!

First pregnancy was very smooth for me - no health aches/pains thruout, this time around is different - what will all the headaches, cuff-colds and discomfort. But thankfully no nausea! So hanging in and trying to enjoy!

Well, I am glad to be in action after crazy schedules! So will be in touch!
You all enjoy the second trimester and keep writing!

Regards,
Anu

Hi Sarah, Roops, Thanks for replying. Sarah I live in San Ramon since last almost a year now. I have lived in San Jose 4 years back and I keep visiting Sunnyvale/Santa Clara at times. Its a nice area with the variety of indian restaurants and stores. Is this your first one?

Keep writing girls!
Regards,
Anu

Hi Sarah,

Yep, I know what you mean! the first time we didnt find out either as we wanted to feel the excitement and be surprised! But this time I didnt have the patience to wait till the end as I wanted to prepare if it was a girl and talk to her thru the rest of the months addressing her with the name we had decided - but turned out my sons wishes were granted - he´ s getting the baby-brother he ordered!

San Ramon I would say is 45 mins without any traffic from Sunnyvale. so almost an hr in traffic. Since you are new i will say welcome to the bay area! Its lovely here - especially with summer coming up now. Dont worry you will make lots of friends as I know theres quite a big Indian population here!

Feel free to ask me anything you want to know about here and I will try to answer the best in my capability :)

take care and have a good one!
Regards,
Anima

For me its been 8-9 months in Sunnyvale, so quite new to this area and not much friends either. So how far is ur place(San Ramon) from Sunnyvale? Is it a quite long drive(1-2 HRS)?
