I think u have not read my post properly i did mention butter and cheese plus the curd or the milk which baby takes should be made from full fat milk and as i think this is understandale to any mum, so u r getting fat in there. 3 to 4 teaspoon of ghee n butter is enough of this age a group u dont have to give them whole butter bar.

My son whos 17 months old is the same way for the past 1 month. he stopped eating... he still likes fruits.. so i keep giving him all kinds of fruits... bluberries, blackberries, strawberries, melon, orange etc... u can add pediasure to the milk for added nutrition.

I think your Dr. is right kids go through phases n this will soon pass where they dont want to eat they r more intersted in playing etc. So instead of giving her 3 meal try giving her more snack. while she is playing u can put little snack in her mouth n she wont even notice. That' s what i am doing with my 16 months do son he is more interested in birdes then eating so i take him in our back garden he watches birds while i keep putting food in his mouth,i know it is quite tiring but.... well as a mum we have to do.
u can try these one if u like
bite size chunks of apple, bananas, peas, grapes, kissmiss, boiled vegetables like carrots, peas etc, u can give her small cubes of cheese or take the cheese slice n cut them in strips or u can make bite size mini potatoes tikkies with peas n carrots n give her to eat, mini toast, there r endless things u can give. try to cook something different everyday so that she get to try new taste everyday.give her chips my son like homemade chips or boil the potatoe add butter in it with some gralic granules n a lil bit of salt mix with curd i am sure she will love it.try to give her breakfast cereal the chocolate flavour one go for wholmeal on as they r good to eat,if she is not happy to eat cereal as they r quite big size grind them with milk just be4 u give her i am sure she will love it.

hi,
all moms from your posts i see there is no mention of " fat" in your kids diet.babies under 2 need calorie dense foods not fibre foods likde fruits...fat is very important for their brain development.
please note this and concentrate on fat.
bye
