Feeding:Menu for 2 years old

hi ,

My son he is 2 years and 4 months now . He look so thin , he is not a fussy eater . But still doesnt look chubby , he look thin . He is very very tall for his age ( looks like 3 years old ). He drinks milk 4 times a day ( he takes abt 8 oz - 7 oz each time).

Below is his eating timetable : someone pls advice me .

8 am - milk

10 am - banana + 2 idli , uppuma , tosai

11.30 am - milk

1.30 pm - Lunch ( 5 tbsps cooked rice with any vegie + fish / chicken / egg

4.00 pm - milk with biscuits ( 2)

6.00 pm - Dinner( maida dosai ( 4 medium size with any curry )/ rice with rasam .

8.00 pm - Milk ( then he goes to bed )

Please advice

hi nidhi,
i hv a 2 yr old. sometimes he is fussy. but 2 yr olds love to hv new varieties, diff shapes, colours in food. try them.we eat chapati every day. but if he is not interested i make it into a roll and he loves it.carrots cut into circles, fruits in triangles, sheera in form of small laddoos etc.try doing this. but don' t worry as long as ur son is healthy otherwise. its imp to incl lot of fruits n veges. see if he likes to snacks in betn meals.

I have noticed that you havent included fruits in his diet.TRy giving fruit juices to him.ANd also whole fruits like apple ,banana etc in the evenings.DOnt woryy if he isn' t chubby.Even my daughter has never been chubby.My daughter is 17 months old this is diet i follow
8:30-puttu/upma/chapathi with banana or dosa/idli/apam with sambhar or potato stew
9:30-milk
11-Fruitjuice-Masumbi or orange
1 pm-rice with veg curry/fish/chicken
After rice she also takes a cup of curd.
She take a nap for 3 hrs
4-milk
5-fruits(if she eats less rice in the afternoon i give her ragi or banana powder to balance her diet)
6:30-fruit juice
8:30 same as lunch including curd
10 pm milk
Hope this milk.my Daughter is a very fussy eater .BUt she loves eating fruits.As long as ur son is healthy and don' t fall sick u dont have to worry much about it.
