I understand your helplessness. My son is exactly the same. He was bf but the doc said that he was not gaining enough weight, so we used to supplement with formula. From day one he hated formula. We were so desperate since he already was a bit underweight, so I used to try and force him to finish the bottle. Somehow, this method is very short term, since, in the long run, he now completely rejects formula.
Some babies just don' t like milk. My son still hates it. I tried to give him cow' s milk after he turned 1 year old, but no luck. He also hates Cerelac, Farex, everything. The only thing he likes is Nestum 1 Rice. It' s a yellow pack. He likes that mixed with water (in stead of milk). I have to constantly vary food at home and NOT FORCE HIM AT ALL, and then after months of effort, he would then try a few types of food. Since he doesn' t drink milk, I give him calcium drops (2.5 ml twice a day) and I give him other sources of calcium like a slice of cheese or plain boiled leafy greens (spinach, methi). He likes that. Just try different things.... maggi without the taste maker, macaroni boiled with cheese, boiled and pureed veg (carrots, potatoes, spinach, methi, zucchini) boiled moong dal, fruits (apples, oranges, bananas, pears, grapes). If you give grapes, remove the skin and cut into 4 pieces. I let him have whatever he wants. And at the end of the meal, I give him some Nestum Rice Cereal mixed with water. So, at least something is going down. Try to let him eat by himself. When they can experiment by themselves, they are willing to try. Give him a spoon and help direct his hand to his mouth. And, whatever you do, DON' T get angry at him. I know it can be frustrating. But, be strong. You are the only one who cares most about him. Throw out the cerelac.
