Hi,

I am having a baby boy of 12 months old. I am working in a Multi National Company in higher grade & drawing good salary. I feel, i am missing my son a lot. But our financial commitments force me to go to work.

Can somebody suggest me some alternative for this. I am a cost accountant by profession.

Thank You.

Dear Kiruthi,
Do u have an option of taking home near ur office ??.If u can do that then during Lunch u can go home to have lunch & also meet the baby .Plus by having home near work place u can save commuting time also .This time can be utilised spending with the baby .

Hai, I am not working but into my studies. I live in a non-english speaking country and need to study that language. It is like if i have atleast a small talant of bilingual, then only i can get job in software. As i got married straight away after degree, i have to apply in name of fresher.

Daily i need to spend atleast 4 hours of routine study. And my daughter is like, if i wake up at early morning 3 oclock also, she will wake up along with me and sleeps on my laps. I have patience sometimes, i get short tempered sometimes, i feel irritated. if i make sleep by her side until she is asleep and continue my reading, she will get up exactly with in 5 min. I cannot concentrate.

During day time, she sleeps on my laps only, i feel hurt on my legs at all time Coz of this. I tried to do alternatives but didnot work out for me. And if she is awake, she will not at all allow me to touch my books. she will get my books and throw it by the side of cupboard or behind TV stand. I tried giving her crayons, water in 2 cups, make her play in water tub. but nothing worked. if i shout, she will cry for atleast 1/2 an hour and that irritates me a lot. Donot know how to manage. She is just 18 months . if i try to explain also, she wont understand. Somebody please provide some tips to help me concentrate for 4 hours reading.

Same here too. But what I feel is that its fine until we are able to balance it after we get home back or in the weekends.. Cuddle her as much as possible, feed her and make her sleep with you when you get back home. Also telling her that ' all this is for you and all of us to lead a nice life' is good though you might feel that she is too young to understand. That will make a difference.
