My 11 months old daughter does not eat prply...can i give her pediasure...when i take my lunch she wants to eat little little of mine...she turns her head this way tht way if i offer her spoon...please help...my ped said somtimes babies lose their apetite under 1 year milk is enough...i am still bf my baby...is my milk enough for the baby...she doesnt feel any interest in food...she is only 8kgs....please help!!!! I' m amother of 11 month old as well. i sometimes experience the same what u said. Make sure their food is tasty and doesnt taste same all the time. My one doesnt eat veges if i change the supermarket. She is very particular about taste. Since she has developed taste buds, cooking for her has been challenging.
Also babies do slow down around this age. I mean their growth rate slows down. They wont need as much before. I know its so difficult to be in the situation. Respect her appetite and she will be fine gradually. All the best. vidya replied. Babies go thro different phases...she might want to explore different tastes now. I remember my son when he was 1 stopped eating the pureed kichidi i was feeding him everyday. he wanted to taste different things. I started giving him what ever we ate to taste, if he liked he would eat more. Try crackers, Cakes, fruits, yogurt..anything that easily melts in their mouth. Also eating with other kids helps. My son started eating a lot better once he got to the toddler room in his daycare. When they see other kids eat they do the same thing. If she is at home try inviting neighbors kids during lunch or dinner time... hope this helps...
