Problems in School:how to teach?

our mother tongue is kannada.. for my son, we' ve taken hindi as 2nd language.. he dont know anything in hindi.. is it difficult for him to cope up the language in higher classes? we dont talk hindi also.. where as others, who knows hndi picks up quite quickly.. how to make him to understand.. help me pls..

After he grows up he will have friends in school and they may speak hindi and he may learn. U can also give him few hindi story books for improving his hindi at this stage. Even watching hindi news channels will help his hindi to improve.
