Need some advice on IVF.
We are researching on IVF solutions ever since we were told that my ovaries are too small and I will require an Egg-donor and an IVF procedure. We have been recommended Short-protocol at one clinic and long-protocol in another so we are not sure what is the right way to proceed. What is the difference between long and short protocols and what is the success rate in each case?

Neha replied. I too have low amh count which is an indicator of poor ovarian reserve, which means poor egg quality and quantity. So based on my experience, where I have gone 3 ivfs, I can sincerely say NO to short protocol, which starts from day 2 of ur cycle. LONG protocol... Give it a try, third and best is antagonist protocol. How low is ur amh? That is very important. With very low count, best is donor egg or adoption. U will waste ur time and money on ivf. The doc is of most importance . Ensure he/ she is truthful and gives u clear pic instead of rosy pic which becomes painful later for u. baby dust to u
