I desperately wanted to check about toddlers milk on flight to India. Because still my 19months old daughter' s main food is milk. She is on packet milk/whole milk. Do they give packet milk? Can v suggest special packet milk before hand? Can I do something bcoz I am thinking that it may happen that my daughter doesnt able to digest milk they give bcoz she is habbitual of some other milk here. She is not on formula since last 8months.

If I start/try formula now I dont know how many days it will take her to adjust..What do u all say?

My daughter is known to pediasure(ready bottle) taste.. Can I carry that? but that has to be freeze temp as per my knowledge then will it get spoiled by the time I check-in and do other security formalities? Can I carry baby food - like gerber packed or unpacked or any other milk on cabin baggage?

Thanks in advance

u can carry milk with u ni the flight. Though they do not hav a fridge or a microwave in the flight. You can ask them to keep the bottles in the chiller ..n when it cmes to heating bottles..they do heat it by keeping the bottle in hot water. Its not a problem ...
Moreover , while booking your ticket, you can mention for baby food ..They provide you with gerber baby food. But remember.. you have to mention it earlier while booikng ur ticket .

hi dimple,

I was also under the same dilemma and came across a milk called

Horizon organic shelf stable milk ,no refrigeration necessary single serve milks are convenient and easy to take on-the-go. They are available online at amazon or try to check in safeway etc.

I have not yet tried this for son. Planning to try it ASAP.

good luck

i recently travelled to india so hopefully i can asnwer. yes u can carry as much as gerber food but make sure each jar is no more than 100 gram and r tied in transparent plastic bag and same with water also u can only take 100ml water in bottle which airport offical will ask u to taste. but can take as much as formula milk.its better to take unopened jars as i carried 5, 80g jars of apple puree.to be honest if u can start on formula then it will be much more easier for u ask hot water before hand as its very very hot n take time to cool down. any thing liquid which is 100ml or less in bottles r allowed to be taken on board. this is from UK airports,if u r travlling from US then u pl. check with airport n they will be happy to help in any way.
