Working Mother:FW: A message to parents who hire maids ..........

Please pass on and make more parents aware of a possibility....

Don't forget to see the Video..

Recently one family in Abbasiya, in KUWAIT employed a female servant at
their house to look after their kid as they both were working. After
some days the kid started showing always gloomy and tired. with some
doubts, they visited Doctor who advised them to keep an eye on the maid.
The family put a hidden camera on there sitting room when they left to
work. when they returned back, they were shocked to see the recorded
movie how the maid is treating the kid who was bearly one year old.

Visit the above link to view the recorded part of the video which. one
more shocking thing is, after the maid drags the kid to other room, we
can hear the kids cry with very louder voice. God only knows what this
maid did with him in another room. The video is uploaded by one of NRI
in Kuwait to make sure that all families must be aware of such
incidents.

Even if we look after the maids as much as we can I am sure there are
many maids who are inhuman. We stop ourselves from saying harsh words to
them no matter what they do, since we leave our treasures under their
care. We pray to the almighty each time we think of the helpless kids.
As for us, we are finally over with that stage of life but I guess those
kids who had their mother at home are the luckiest? but unfortunately it
is not possible for all?specifically for those who are NRIs and both the
parents are working.

Your website link did not work.

I do not have children but if I did, I would definitely install a nanny camera as they call it in the US inside my house. You can not trust anyone and kids are such an investment in life that they are not worth taking the risk with.

I babysat one child here in the US and I had a feeling they had a nanny camera in the house. I did not mind of course because I would do the same thing in my own house. And also, I fear God for my actions and also feel like God is watching me with everything I do, so a nanny camera did not bother me. I was a very good babysitter. The family was very nice too. They bought me a present on my relgious holiday and they bought me a gift on my last day too. I think what made me different is my relegion and how serious I take it. One fundamental value of my religion is having good character and being kind and knowing that I will be held accountable for everything I do. So this helped me be a great babysitter and take good care of the child.

So not all babysitters are the same, but I would NEVER hire anyone in my house without installing a private hidden camera inside my home. I have just heard too many crazy things happening to other people's children.

There is no such thing as the right age in my opinion.
As long as the Daycare is run by professionals in a homely, loving environment, your child will be happy and well taken care of.
My daycare started due to similar experiences with my child.
