To a problem I had with khichdi, Sandhya (thank you) mentioned that basmati rice is not good for infants/children. I could not find any related posts. Can anybody provide more information or links to related posts.

Hi,
I am not sure abt the posts.. but in general Basmati Rice is a lil diff to digest even for adults, hence not adviced for children.

as suggested by one of my friend rice ambe mohar is suppose to be best for babies , you can gv them as long as you can , its bit expensive 45 Rs per kg, when cooked they turn out to be bit soft and tastes well
