hi, need help for suggestion on brands available in india for formula feeding and also bottles and nipples thanks a heap!

wow, i' m surprised..only 2 brands. how about Similac?
in bottles...i know Avent comes highly recommended.what about NUK or Pigeon?
i really need to know what my choices are bcoz i don' t want to start on something which i won' t find in india

hi, thanks for the info... it´ s a great help!
in terms of infant cereal...what about homemade ones? ragi powder and water boiled and added to milk comes very highly recommended, so you control amt of sugar.

i have tried feeding my daughter with bottle- tried 3 different teats and she has not got the hang of it yet. she takes in approx 10 ml, gets frustrated with teat and i end up feeding her from breast!
that´ s my situation now...any suggestions for help?

Simulac... i know one of my bhabies used to be feed on it around 30 yrs ago... thast when things were imported into India..
Im not very sure now.. u might get some stuff that is available in the US or UK.. in the up market stores here..not very sure...
BUt the most widely available are Lactogen and Nan.
Believe me... i wanted to start my dd on soya based formula.. that too wansnt available.
Same is the with Infant cereal... very less choice n very diff to have something w/o sugar...
Anyways .. yes widely Pigeon is available here.

Hi,
In India, I dont think we have a gr8 choice or variety of formula feeding available. Moreover we only have Powder Formula no ready to use.
The two brands available are Lactogen and Nan , I was told by my ped that NAN is a better product.
Bottles of varies brands are available. My favorite brands are Mother care N Avent.
