Planning a Baby  Discussion Forum

Dear All,

I am not the regular reader but trying to follow the forum last 6-7 yrs.
Sharing our long journey for become parents. We got married in 2002 and started trying child after si months.
For first 2 yr we were in waiting mode and didn' t go for any doctor, medicine
After that we consulted doctor in Ireland and recommended for Laparoscopy,
Both tubes were good , doctor told that everything is OK and keep try for natural conceive.
After 1 yr we came back to India and consulted Dr Abha Majumdar in Gangram Delhi.
She told everything is fine on mail side and IUI is the best option now.
She had done the 1st IUI with everything perfect. Keep waiting for D-day but nothing positive.
Again we had gone to doctor and her again recommended IUI. She has done the six IUI but all unsuccessful.
We lost the hope for child and decided to take break from all these treatment and medicines.
After 1 yr we consulted Dr Nalini Mahajan in Delhi. She suggested for IVF and we decided it would take only one chance. Outcome of this IVF was also negative, we totally shattered.
We lost all hope for become parents.

In July 09 my younger brother’s wife got pregnant second time and she asked us to adopt that child.
She delivered the baby boy in Apr and from day one we are taking care of baby.
My brother and her wife fulfilled our dreams. They have given most beautiful gift to us.
They are like GOD for us.

sk replied. thats good that u have taken decision not like me i am still confuse as i had 2 failed ivf n planning for 3rd .so what u say about nalini mahanjan or any other doc in delhi ..i had one ivf with dr. abha of SGRH help me out
Anamika replied. congrats to you all....and God bless the baby...i don' t have the courage and guts to do that and suffering till now.
