I need some advice.I have got married in December last year and we came to west Indies where my husband works after 10 days of our marriage.

My problem is that I am not able to settle down in this place even after 4 months.Intially when I had come here, I used to cry and argue a lot with my hubby because I had nothing to do at home except watch T.V and wait for him.I used to work in India before our marriage and had a busy schedule.My hubby is a very nice person and understood my predicament.I picked up a job here after 2 months with a company who were paying me a salary below my expectations but promised me to increase it after they file my Work Permit.This is the first time away from my home and I really miss India.I want to move out of this place as the job is not very fulfilling and this place is not developed as India.My only concern is that when we go back to India , I will have to face interfering in-laws which i am not facing right now.My hubby is happy with his job and is currently busy in a project which may yeild good monetary results.I am really confused about what to do I cannot go back to India leaving my hubby here and if I stay , I will fell depressed day by day.I cannot share this with anyone because I know my parents will fell really bad.There is a fight inside me about what to do.Please help Sanjana replied. Only you can help yourself out of this. Firstly stop feeling victimised, look from a positive side, inlaws who generally create trouble are far away and you do not have any real problems other than the fact that you are bored. Since your husband is happy with the job, try and like the new situation. You have got yourself a job and maybe later when you plan a child you will be more busy. Learn to drive and if the place is safe, explore the town and find out the intersting places, make friends, plan picnics, outings. The best thing about small places is that you and your husband get more time together, a priveledge we in metro cities don't enjoy.
