Trying since long:Ladies, please help

Hi All,
I have joined this site recently, but have landed across some of the threads while searching on google.
I have had 3 miscarriages in past 2 years, have been married since 4 years. I have been treated by Dr.Jyothika Desai at Desai Nursing Home for 1.5 years without any results. I was made to go thru several cycles on contraceptives as I am a PCOD patient. I also went thru Laproscopy, but did not conceive even once in that 1.5 yrs.
I shifted to Dr.Madhuri Patil in June 2008 with lots of hopes. She suggest to go thru IUI, and in the second IUI I conceived with twins.
On 5th week, I was started with Claxane Injections as the fetal heartbeat was low. Following week, when I went thru scan, one heartbeat had stopped and another was very weak.
I went to Medha Dignostics- Dr.Preethi Venkatesh did the sonography, and told that one sack is empty and in another, there is no heartbeat. I lost both babies.
I was made to understand by the Doctor that trying to conceive naturally would be just waste of time, as it may not happen at all.
But 3 months after my miscarriage, I conceived again naturally, and I realized that only in the 5th week. Again I cosulted Dr. Patil, and she started with medicines and Claxane Injections.
In the 6th week my HCG levels started dropping, and I had another miscarriage.
In sept 2009, I conceived for the 3rd time with the help of IUI, but still the results are the same. I could not see the fetal pole even after waiting for 10 weeks.

I have gone thru various tests, and all of them say everything is perfect. I do not have anti-sperm antibodies, my TORCH is negative and all other tests are perfectly normal.

Only thing that might be somewhat positive that, its no more an unexplained infertility. But even after conceiving with the help of IUI and naturally, I am still not being able to carry the pregnancy to the full term, that' s what bothers me to no end.
My experience with Dr.Jyothika Desai was not so good, even though the Doctor herself is kind, but there is no such thing as privacy for the patients, or at the same time, 3/4 other patients will be there in the consultation room. Also, they are least organized and one has to keep waiting for hours together.
As for Dr.Madhuri Patil is concerned, they are clearly into minting money. Every visit will cost a minimum of 750/-Rs. and Dr. Maduri Patil will reply only in monosyllables.A DnC costs around Rs.15,000/- and there is no end to other expenses. I must mention that some of the trainee Doctors are wonderful, like Dr.Meenakshi. But all in all, my experience has not been very good, after trying for 3 years, and going thru 3 miscarriages, and spending about 2 lakhs, I want to see a doctor who has a different approach and who can explain things in a better way.

Can someone suggest any Doctor in North Bangalore? I read somewhere that Dr. Nalini Devi is good.. should I consult her?

Hi, one thing I´ ve learnt that to not to blindly follow any doctor. I have done lots of research on internet now, and next time whenever I see a doctor, if I do not feel comfortable or do not trust her, I will discontinue treatment within 3 months for sure. We do not have whole lifetime to have a baby,bio-clock is ticking away, and I want a healthy baby too.. too many medicines, too many hormonal injections are a strict no-no. Afterall, we are human beings and not guinea-pigs. Let me know if you are seeing any progress in the treatment. One must believe in the doctor, but to what extent, is to be decided by himself..rite?

hi good to know that you are having a healthy baby despite of all that you´ ve gone thru. I dont have any idea about this. How did you find that you had TB of the uterus? Does that show in scan? I went thru a laproscopy in 2007 May..and the report said that everything was normal. Do you think I could have developed a TB later on?

I am very sorry to hear that u couldn' t carry pregnancy to full term. I also had same experience with Madhuri Patil. They are after money. She is also not friendly with patients. She might be seeing so many patients a day, but for patients, she is the only hope.

I went thru 2 cycles of IVF there. First one turned out to be ectopic pregnancy. But she was least bothered to give some explanation about what happened. Now one of my tube is blocked due to ectopic pregnancy.

I feel very sad that after spending so much money, eneded up with one fallopian tube blockage. Later she asked us to go thru IUI. But the IUI procedure comes before ICSI which I have undergone. She should have told that before only. She is surely money minded.

Now we are planning to go for adoption. We have no faith in any Doctors these days.

But u have chance of conceiving, as u have mentioned, u conceived naturally. So keep trying and have faith in God.
Don' t think that u cannot carry pregnancy to full term. Think positively. Dream that you are holding a small baby which is smiling at u.

All the best and may god bless you soon with a beautiful baby.

I do not understand why doctors behave the way they do? Do they fear that we will ask for discount in fees if they treat us like humans? Money is not everything, but it plays a very big part, it adds on the worries of not having a baby, running into huge medical bills and its a vicious cycle.
I just hope that it happens soon, and more than that i want a healthy baby in all aspects.
Have you thought of taking ayurvedic medicines? there is a tab called m2tone and a herb called ´ khsirini´ which has been advised to me. I have been taking it since last two cycles..
All the best for you..and may what come, let it bring happiness in our lives..that´ s all we are looking forwards.. rite?

Thanks for the suggestion, my aunt is also a Reiki Grandmaster and she has been healing me. But I think along with this I also need a good doctor who can point out the exact nature of problem and combined with powers of Reiki, I will get better results I think.
