hi i ahev been reading ur posts...i dunno whether u have read mine or not bt my 13.5 mnths old son is also prone to severe constipation. he has been like this frm birth..he was given enema 1st time when he was 1 mnth old so u can imagine my plight. anywys...i had replied to one ur posts when u said ur son had bleeding while passing stools. see alopathic docs have given up...they dunno whts the coz coz i am giving my son fiber rich diet n followed hetal' s post and tried everything underthe sun etc. i have switched to homeopathy and its wrking. according to homeopathy he has problems pushing his stools and needs a lubricant. thts wht the medicine is doing.and touchwood its working..its a long treatment bt is working...i also cdnt see him in so much pain n discomfort. my whole life revovled arnd his passing stools...though this may sound funny. but its true.
I suggest u also see a homeopath doc..also it can be if there is no prob then he has developed a habit coz hard stools give him pain so in his mind passing stools is associated with pain and therefore the reluctnace...the more he keeps his stools inside the harder they get..where do u stay? I do knw some good homeopath docs in Blore n Delhi. Do stya in touch...I wd like to help as I knw wht u are going thru. take care sonia replied. hi aks...I read ur post to me earlier also..my son is also 13.5 months old...i discussed with u earlier also and u were the one who made me think whether it was actually constipation as u told me that once baby starts solids the stools resembles like elders..but actually the situation is like he passes stools daily..but first stool that comes out is hard after that they looks fine but again some day he passes tiny tiny stones like stools that are very hard....so i dont 9 what the problem..and actually his bottom gets red and i apply med or mustard oil....actally i posted earlier also his diet schedule but got no reply...one day i read somewhere that when we start givin cows milk some babies gets const. then i stopped cows milk and started formula again but then after somedays again i switched to cows milk but fat free...i am not givin him banana,apple,cornflakes,dalia,carrot,bread....and spinach soup is what i am giving him daily in the evening...he likes egg also a lot..earlier i used to give him boiled egg but the again i found on net that it gives constipation so now i give him omlette that too once in a wk (but he just love it)...so dear it like hit and trial for me but i done 9 the reason...i m putting up in delhi..plz let me know the doctors in delhi it wud be very kind of u cz i want to discuss the whole scenerio with the doc..and really u r tru that whole life revolves around ours babies stools :) me too find the day lucky when he pass the soft stools.....

plz tell me the diet schedule of ur loved one as my son is of same age and now a days he shows interest in food so i want to start somethin new as i am givin him khichdi dal roti,soup from last 2-3 months ..nothin new....
