i will be undergoing iui from my next cycle...i am hesitant abt it as in will it be painful?the success rate..and the cost etc..kindly share experiences...
i underwent Hsg test ..it was painful..

Dr Sita,
The HSG is painful but IUIs usually are not. Overall success rates are about 30 per attempt. Costs vary from clinic to clinic and also depend on individual treatment cycles whether based on tablets or injections.

Hi Sita,

I have undergone 4 IUIs till now.
If you managed through HSG< this will not be painful. Just a little discomfort, for a minute. That s all.
Cost may vary depending on the number of injections. Approx it will cost aroubd 10,000 Rs (including scan, medicines and injections). I am going for treatment in Chennai. What about you?

I am going for treatment in Prashant hospital, chetpet. I find it a very good place esp. Dr. Geetha Haripriya. I conceived within 4 months of treatment here, though unfortunately, it ended up in ectopic pregnancy. Am again going there now. All the best for the treatment :)
