It just does not seem to be ending. It's gone on for years, now. And, I haven't even had a little bit of luck. It's really been terrible. I've finally decided to opt for assisted conception. IUI or IVF is on top of my list. I think I might go for IVF. It seems like a better option. I'm really excited about it. Hopefully, I get to experience some happiness. This is a lovely thread. It's great to read these stories. They are really nice. And, they are very helpful. I struggled with infertility. I had a tough time in conceiving. It took me a lot of time. When I finally managed to get pregnant thanks to IUI. It ended in an MC. It's been five years. I'm still going strong though. I'll be undergoing my third IVF cycle. It's been a nightmare. I have had a lot of terrible luck. I suffer from endometriosis. It's a painful issue. The periods are the worst! I have conceived twice. But both times it's ended in a miscarriage. I will probably opt for assisted conception, soon. These forums are really nice. They are so helpful. You get to read about relatable issues. Still if it helps. I conceived after 6 months of trying. Doctors find out after 6 weeks that it is ectopic pregnancy. So they had to abort my child. I conceived again after a year and same thing happened. . Doctors said that my uterus is not hospitable enough to support embryo growth. Since then I am TTC but got no success. Its been 10 years now. Hi,hope you are doing good.All i can say is everybody has different problems while conceiving.Some have medical issues and some have psychological issues.Well for me its a medical one.As i am an infertile and am considering about surrogacy.As for age it doesn't matter.But the earlier you conceive the better.As chances of infertility increases with aging. From others' experience you wont learn anything in this case. Everybodys cycle is different. Some of us conceive early and some of us dont. Keep trying but do consult a doctor too. I am an infertile. My advice would be to not stress. Secondly, make sure you have sex during ovulation days. Or right after you've ovulated. Basically have a lot of sex. And make sure you aren't on any kinds of pills. If you've been struggling for a longer period of time. It wouldn't be a bad option to consult a doctor. Maybe you need a professional opinion. Hey, there. I hope you're alright. I know getting pregnant is a really tough job. TTC is the most difficult thing in the world. It requires so much patience. But don't lose hope. You'll regret it in the long run. That's the last thing you should do! Just keep the faith. And keep going at it. Don't be afraid to rule out other options. It could be infertility. I am an infertile woman my AMH level is very low, my doctor advised me to have an egg donor but I am not sure that is it right or wrong. Avoid smoking and alcohol while pregnant. Smoking and alcohol can affect fertility. It can also affect the unborn baby. Twenty to twenty two per cent of couples become successful within the first month of trying. Do not worry if you don’t get pregnant within the first month of trying.
Alisha replied. If you want to get pregnant, try to have sex on the day of ovulation or during the ovulation period, not after the ovulation period. Take pre natal vitamins before you start trying. But, take after consultation with a doctor. Pre natal vitamins contain all the nutrients required for the body and are recommended by many doctors.
