Feeding:how much formula?

my son is 2 months 9 days old and sleeps through the night. he takes around 8 feeds of 100 ml each of nan 1 in a twenty four hour period. Of these 8 feeds 2 are in the night when he is sleeping and doesn' t demand feed, i only wake him up and feed him cos i have read somewhere that at this age he needs to take 700 to 800 ml a day. Do i need to wake him up in the night? he doesn' t take more than 100 ml in each feeding so increasing the quantity at each feed is out of question.please help as i dunno what to do am worried if he will get enough nutrition if i dont wake him and feed him in the night.

putting weight ?
if u say yes to both u get the answer yourself
all babies r different n what ever is wrtten on formula tins is just a guideline.

4 ounces ( is about 120ml) every three hours but then it depend may be your baby is a hungry baby want more milk then what is average .regarding sleeping my son is 11 months old n still wake up some night if he is hungry. at 2 months 9 days your baby tummy is still very small and cant take 8 ounce of milk in one go. make one ouce more then the normal milk n see if your baby drinks if he is happy n don' t thrown it out that means he can take more milk then what u give him but then may be one feed he will take more then 2nd less its just as a mum u will come to know they says it mum' s wrold.
