pooja replied. Hello dear sash,
I read about ur views on working mothers, thru this site only and also get to know about some shows of urs and the interesting thing is u r eager to know, the prblms, if any, working mothers face with their cute kids.
Myself working in a pvt. Concern I m having a son of 1 yr. 3 months old, my problem is : he is very much possessive about me, he keep gud during morning hrs. till evening in play school cum cruch, there is no problem, bt when I went to take him, or my husband, he never wants to leave me for a second even, not allows me even to take a glass of water, to cook food, to do anything. I spend about a hour with him, still he never wants me to leave him.
The worst prblm, with me is he never wants to stop breast feed of mine, during holidays, or Sundays, he never leave me for a sec. and never eat anything, bottle feed etc., just suck me all the time, that much, that even I m becoming so weak and dull.
Sometimes I feel that much embarrassed I never prefer to go anywhere, he never wants to leave me.
I’ve tried many times, by making him cry, bt coz, of that he became ill, and fell down with fever or some type of prblm, that I’d to ran at that time to doctor.
Can u help me on this, I’ll be very helpful to u, kindly advice me something, I can understand he luvs me, bt he jst caught me like anything.

pooja

laddu replied. Dear Sash, I am working in an MNC, as a s/w engineers want to put my kid in cresche/day boarding but i cant do. My kid is getting spoiled and not getting the healthy environment what that little angel of 2 years deserves. But husband is ignorant and keep comparing our kid with that of his brothers daughter, insist on keeping the child with his brothers wife. My father in law and mother in laws has expired. I am earning well but cant do anything. Cant keep a maid at home for support as this is against there tradition and moreover they dont like maids work. Although working, i was being pressurised to do all housesehold chores even when i was 9 months pregnant, without any support.
Time is passing and things are getting out of my control. He is getting ignorant about his responsibilities and focussing more on his brother needs.
Sash, I feel you are doing a very good job in bridging the helplessness of working mothers. Pls let us know when this programme is being launched and some or the other way these guys must be told that marriage and kid needs commitment from both side. One shouldnt stretch so much that things breaks.

Hi,
thank you for replying to the message I posted. The show is nearing completion and rest assured that I will inform you of the telecast date and time when the channel launches (shouldn't be too long now).
Don't give up hope and keep up with your job and balancing act. It'll pay off eventually.

Hi Anjali,
I've met a lot of working moms who feel the same way about not getting enough time to spend with their kids.
You're right about not quitting your job, it's never a good solution because you should always have certain priorities for yourself as an individual as well!
I would really like to talk about this with you though so could you give me your email address? We could take it from there.
thanks a ton,
Sash

Name: sash Subject: for a show
Hi,
I'm trying to gather research through interviews and discussions for a project that will feature in a new upcoming channel.
So far I have interviewed doctors, airline officials and teachers and it's very interesting to hear about their different experiences and perspectives. Infact I've realized that the media has the whole concept a little wrong.
It is a tremendous challenge to be a working mother and I very strongly believe that such mothers deserve a special recognition and more conducive work environments. The show I'm working on provides an excellent platform to address these issues.
Hope that answered your question!
thanks for reading,
Sash
