Hi Varsha,
Pls find the recipe for medu vada.
Ingredients:
Udad Dhal - 200 ml (for 15 vadas)
Onion - 1/2 (Finely chopped)
Green chillies - 2 (Finely chopped)
Curry Leaves - 10 (Finely chopped)
Sunflower oil - 150ml
Salt - as per your taste

Soak the udad dhal in water for 3 to 4 hrs and grind them in to a thick fine paste by adding very little amount of water while grinding. Add finely chopped onions, green chillies, curry leaves and salt into the paste and mix it well. Wet your palm, place a medium size ball of this and make a small hole on its center. Deep fry this in hot oil and turn it over until the vada becomes golden brown.
Alternatively you can add 1 t.spoon of pepper and 1 t.spoon of cumin seeds instead of onion and green chillies.
