I never wanted to start top feed but due to low production I had to start it...thrice a day.initially I was giving her formulae milk only then I realized that she was getting constipation so I started cow' s milk. I have recently joined back office, baby is 4 months now.But is it ok if I start giving her Lactogen now??else she will get weak.as u all said cow' s milk doesn' t give proper nutrition.Is Formulae milk going to suit her at this age. While giving formula make sure the water level. If it is more then no prob. If it is too concentrated then might be cause constipation . So if u give water level ok ,then no problem.since u have to buy bottle (camera bottle is good)for this. My daughter is on Nan1 then now in NAN2 formula. Athi replied. Hi ss,
Sure SS. Since 4 months is good times .If u have started less than this may not be right .But At 4 months u can start formula and then by 6 month u can start Ragi kanji .don' t worry she will be doing good. Be relaxed and i think this stage they will have 150ml formula at one time . mandeep replied. I cant comment on lactogen as that' s not available here where we live. I think u could start your baby with formula milk but as your baby is already having cow and she may take time to adjust to formula or she may adapt to it on the spot or she can be constipated or sick. so the best advice i can give u now is to speak to your dr. tell her/him what' s your plans and see what Dr. says and then take it from there. Dr. will be usefull in case if your daughter don' t adjust to FM so least dr. can tell u what next n help with any minor indigestation your daughter might suffer cos of this change.
