I was wrongly diagnosed with PCOD when i was in delhi. I came to the US and had several tests done and none showed PCOD. Therefore always get a second opinion if the diagnosis is PCOD. Its not an easy diagnosis to make and many doctors label u with it because they are not trained that well in infertility. I wish I could sue the doctor who made the wrong diagnosis. I cried a lot at that time. Now my diagnosis is unexplained Infertility as all tests came back normal.So I am still trying.

Your doctor must do both ultrasound and blood tests, testing several hormones to decide if you have pcod. I have heard good things about dr kaberi banerjee at moolchand but have not tried to meet her yet. The wrong diagnosis on pcod that I received was at fortis, delhi. The doc was dr.caprihan and dr raj.They were not very professional. So beware of them.
