HI All,
Need some help,
what all care has to b taken post delivery for mother 7child?
Like what all acre about food to b eaten/ not to b eat..
i know one that the mother shud not put her hands in cold water or step outof the home for 40 days as the muscels bcum weak & need time to come back to normal..
what all food shud b taken if ur Breastfeeding ur kid?like nothing too spicy etc...
Exp mom please guide ..alll this is for my sis in NJ....she is expecting in Jan 2008

Regarding post-delievery care...if your sister takes rest for about 2-3 months remaining time would be normal...as not put hands or feet in cold water otherwise some pinning pains will occur which are unbearable, boil water cool it and drink...it is good to have bottle gourd curry with rice, kheema which is very good for post-delievery women and also breast feeding mothers, drink as much coffee which is helpful for reducing puffiness and regain shape for post-delievery women....take jeera, garlic as much as u can..garlic is helpful for milk production..jeera for easy digestion....no way of having spicy foods until 3 months as baby would easy get effected if mother have some spicy food stuff....ask her to take rest as much she can...
