My daughter Lavanya is going to be 8 Mths soon - 28.04.2003
I have started on solid food 2 mths ago and realized that her weight was not increasing but stagnant
she is still 7.5 kgs for 8mths and she is a very active baby

At the moment She is drinking 130 ml of formulas milk. How much should 8mths baby should drink in a day??
Below is her daily menu

7.30 a.m - 150 ml - formula milk
10.30a.m. - 5 teaspoon rice cereal with one banana mashed or papaya mashed - 60 ml formula milk
1.30p.m. - 130ml formula milk
4.30p.m. - 6 teaspoon vegetable cereal with apple mashed or pear mashed - 60 ml - formula milk
7.30p.m. - 130 ml - formula milk
9.00p.m. - 1 biscuit deeped in some milk
10.30p.m. - 80 ml - formula milk

is she over fed,??? at the moment in total she is drinking about 610ml - 20 oz is that alright.
I am working mother - who has no time to prepare home food for my baby, i am only depending the commercial packed for baby.

Desperately looking for someone's advice for the above.
All replies will be greatly appreciated

Hi Mala

Lavanya was born - 28.08.2003
Now she sits and crawl and pull herself to standing posting and strolling the whole house by holding on to things, sometimes she even hold stand still without holding to things she attempts to walk one step only, and there she goes on her bumps.
Lavanya attempted crawling she moves very slow, she prefers to walk.

i am in singapore - wish to share one another with more tips and advice. hope to recieve reply from you soon

i have seen the chart, would like to add some suggestions to it.actually you are not giving like luncha and dinner.morning 7:30 milk is fine,at 10 give her breakfast like cereal or idli.then at 12:30 or 1 give her lunch.lunch includes rice +dhal+veggies.after an hour or so give her fruit.then as a snack give her milk and some biscuits.give dinner at 7:30 or 8.before going to sleep give a bottle of milk.just plan her diet as how we eat.that means milk, breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner and milk.try to introduce egg white.now she is going to complete 8 months you can start introducing new foods.
lunch recipe-- fry rice witjout oil in a pan, also fry toor dhal.grind the rice into small bits but not as a powder.now take dhal and rice and add some veggies like carrots or whatever you want you can also add potato.and add more amt of water and cook in a cooker.after cooling smash it and it becomes like a semisolid paste.try this.for any help you can post a message here.

take care.
