Feeding:suddenly not drinking formula! any suggestions

Name: toddler mom

I have 12 month old boy. He has been up and down on his diet. So far so good. He is not a big formula drinker but would not fuss to drink. He takes Enfamil. (hasn' t started the next step yet)

But...for the past 3-4 days he just doesn' t want it. Cries if taken to him. Tried to give him in bottle, sippy cup, with spoon, cup..no luck.

Actually on his 1 yr checkup doc wanted him to start pediasure, but that too he is not drinking.
Since I am weaning him slowly..I am more worried, he is having BM twice in 24 hrs, the rest he should be having formula and pediasure. But..suddenly he has created this aversion.
Has anybody experienced situation like this? any suggestions please let me know.

Ok, does this happen with each and every teeth they get. Oh my god! bad for both parents and kids. I shall try and stop giving him formula for 2 days and then see how he does.

Thanks Gauri

thanks for such a quick response gauri.

Yes, he hasn´ t got any teeth yet. From the past month his lower teeth is showing signs and we can feel it well for a few days now. But shouldn´ t that effect the other diets too. I mean he is all right in solids and finger foods. Only with the formula he says a big no. You maybe guessing correct, maybe biting the bottle nipple is a problem for him but then how he is taking water in sippy cup? Oh my God these kids, If only they could talk early, the world would have been so different. It would have been so funnier. Anyway jokes apart...maybe I´ ll just cross fingers and wait.
