hi all,

my daughter is 5 months old, weight 5.8kgs. she is on lactogen 1. few days back, i gave her 1 scoop of cerelac rice. she developed stomach ache along with loose motions for 3 days. so i stopped cerelac. after 10 days, again i tried with 1 scoop of cerelac rice and she developed same problems. now i' m wondering should i try nestum rice or just continue with formula milk for some more time. i' m really worried coz she driks only 3oz of milk, 8 feeds per day. quantity is very less as per her weight and age. her weight gain has also been slow in the previous month. pls help me out!

thanks rhea for the reply! i' m really worried b' co of her feeds. i' ve appointment with my doc on 21st. will check with him rgd wheat cereal.

Your baby could not take rice cereal...thats y she got motions...switch on to some other flavour like wheat...wheat apple...half spoon a day...regarding weight i think its normal...consult ur pedatrician anyhow...gudluck
