Hi

Can anybody please let me know, is it safe to do Yoga while trying to have baby?

I am trying to conceive for a long time. I am bit over weight. So if I do Yoga will it affect conceiving?

You can do Yoga and it is good .As you have little over weight , you can do \" Surya Namaskar\" .It will help you .
As per your situation and try for concieve , you could take the ovulation Kit .
This LH ovulation kit will predict if you are ovulating .
to get know about ovulation is very helpful for concieve .
If your cycle length is 28 days then your body will discharge LH hormon from day 12 to 16 (Depends)
During this ovulation period you can make the intercourse then the chances will be increase for pregnency.

Practicing Yoga is good.
Yoga will infact regulate your hormones and help you not only loose weight but conceive as well.
Please note however that certain poses are not recommended during pregnancy. So as a precautionary measure one may try Yoga recommended for pregnant woman even during the preconception period. That way there is the benefit of practicing Yoga with minimized risk.
You could also continue this regime post conception !
