For Sneha- Subseptate

went for diagnostic laproscopy. The doctor removed some adhesions and made my reproductive organs float. Also cleared some spots in the uterus lining. Subseptate uterus can be a problem for me. The procedure was not painful as i was given local anesthesia. But it took full 1 week to recover because of acute gastric discomfort and resultant pain in the stitches as they release CO2 for organs to be visible. I was also diagnosed with mycobacterium TB in my uterus. In India, since 3-4 years, doctors have started diagnosing during laproscopic procedure which is the only way to find. Now I am on 6 months treatment to get rid of this bacteria. It is best not to conceive this time ( Possibility) . This TB bacteria can make your womb ( uterus) infertile. Hopin for the best.

Sub Septate Uterus

Hi Tina,

I was initially diagones with \" T\" shpaed uterus and my gynae said it is from my birth.Then she has suggested a Hysterescopy(Lapo surgery) for me for two reasons.
1)Polycystic ovaries
2.T shaped uterus

During the surgery they found that my uterus is sub septate one.There will be a septum(like a wall) running in the uterus and it will afefct the blood flow to the child and it will result in miscarriages.So they ahev done septum resection during the surgery.Please let me know if you require more details.

hi all,
i have been diagonised with subseptate uterus and has been asked for laproscopy for removing the septum.has anyone undergone laproscopy for septate uterus.is it painful?is it really helpful in continuing pregnancy.i had 4 miscarriages already.if anyone has gone through laproscopy pls let me know.any improvement surgery.pls pls let me know.

I have been diagonized with Subseptate Uterus. I have alraedy miscarried 4 times in the past 5 years. Dr had advised histro-laproscopy to remove the septum. What are the chances of not loosing endometric lining and carrying a child for full term in the future?
