Could some one tell me about Baldwin girls shcool? I more interested in the way of teaching and extra circular activities.i also want to know about bishops girls, cathedral , bethany , faps .which of these schools ranks first . Thanks in advance for your replies. nn replied. HI SRUTHI,
NPS is on the same lines with 100% stress on studies.. hardly any extra cericular, so i have heard...though the attitude must be different.. YOU can enquire about DPS too though its just a frenchise not like original at delhi... thats the feedback i got.. i put my son in Greenwood high at sarjapur road. its an icse.. they have hiked fee from this year for about 40% so lots of hohalla was there among the parents but its still less than many of other international schools.. nn replied. hi sruthi,
I shifted from bombay last oct and put my son in cathedral as that was the only school which was ready to take him mid year. But within a month I realised my mistake as I had not done thorough research. See all these .schools that you have mentioned have a very good rep with conventional people. these schools are typically conventional,that is, the way they teach(too much load on kids, my kid was in ukg and he had a hell of a time trying to catch up), about 40-45 kids in one class, teacher hitting kids(this i saw myself and my son was shocked). Their main aim is studies and I guess they have fair amount of extra cericular activities but these are kind of we studied in. So I would suggest you to look around carefully as there are many many options in Bangalore. I changed his school in a month and he is very happy in his new school.
