hi friends,
depressed...feeling very low...my firstever ivf turned in failure. me n my husband were banking on it because all my reports were normal and doctor declared my case as unexplained infertility. after 7.5 years of marraqige i felt waiting n trying naturally is meaningless and went for ivf. and everything looked bright but now feeling hopeless and disheartned especially when my caring and loving husband suddenly looked very upset with me. i myself is devastated by ivf failure, is just holding my emotions infront of him. i went thorugh all the trauma (bleeding after 6th day of ET, then UPT report negative)all alone( he was away on work). how i went through i only know. i dont know how to consloe him because i myself dont know how to recover from this physical n emotional trauma.i cant tell my feeling n pain to anybody in the family so just putting it across. I know the aftermath of a failed cycle is the most devastating of all! I' ve been thru the same thing.. My hubby too was upset and I had my mai-in-law too to deal with.. I don' t think you hubby is really upset with you. HE too is probably going thru his own trauma and you both dont know how to console each other. Believe me the best person to turn to is your husband, although right now you may feel he' s shutting you out. He' s the one person who' s going thru ther same emotional state as you and you both need to be there for each other. Reach out to him.. hug and hold him.. so what if you don' t have a bundle of joy yet.. you have a good husband who loves you.. Send up a small prayer, count your blessings and keep trying! People have several IVFs, they fail, then they try all over again. Human resilience is wonderful!
