5.30pm snacks // healthy snacks,,oftn yogurt or fresh milkshakes or something good on fat like cheese cubes,crackrs n cheese, or just some pieces of vegies with cheese on it,,bread plus cheese spread or some fruit spread...
6.30 vege soup /// okay...
7.30/8.pm oats/cereals ////start himon family meals,,1/4th of the qty remember for 1year to 18months of an adult serving..take a spoon for yourself,,remove 1/4th for your baby,,thats what he should eat,,,find out ways to feed him if it happns to be tug of war...dont force, go slow though,,too much force might make baby run away from food...
9pm milk // 5-7 oz,,,full feed..
offer snack after this, if your child requires,,like some crackers or nething, he would like..
he might be needing diff options, an addtion of fats in his diet, or might be teethng canines or first molars,,perfect time for 13months old to do that...most kids start being fussy from 1st day from the teethng prcess n thn will keep doing so, until end..some show signs of irrtbly only during main days when the actual teeth comes out..
-- make sure he is dressed well, his nose is well cleared, his diaper changd,,or a nice warm bath before bed might help him sleep better.
-- if you find ne change in his bowels,,you might want to try offerng him gripe water,,if that soothes him..
sometimes some kids tend to get a lil gassy at nights esp when fed iron fortified cereals at night..
start offerng regular meals at night too.
his dinner time is 8 which might be a lil early for him,,,see if changing a lil bit to say 830/9 might help him sleep at night nicely..
oats/cereals are somethng to be givn in breakfast,,dinner has to be somethng full ! evn though your child may eat these in plenty,,these are very good in digestng in case child is very healthy n doesnt have probs with iron foods at night,,so try offrng him somethng more othr thn just cereals...
you eat 3-4 times a day, healthy meals,,make sure your child eats the same..just as cereal doesnt satisfy our hunger(unless u are on strict diet !),,it wont even for your child..not at 1 year and onn,,so think about it.
-- until noon, your diet is good but thn soup, n cereal doesnt end the day,,,make sure you offer a good heavy soup during that time, so that he is at contend...with soup offer some cheese bread or some roti, or throw in some wheat or whole grain or single pastas to make it a grain serving...n a lil bit on heavy side...
- make sure to give him good playtime 30mins after meals, so that he likes to sleep ! kids like to rest only if they ate well n then they played well....how much they like,,depnds on wat you feed him and how well your balance his sleep n playtime..at 1year, his sleep time shouldnt be more thn 1-2hrs of 2 naps during day time.
