Do you celebrate father's day? What did you gift you father on last father's day? What are your plans for this father's day? Sunit replied. I share very strange relationship with my dad. We fight a lot. Very rarely we have agreed on one thing. We often have arguments. He does not like some of my habits and I hate when he nags me on small things. But on father' s day we forget our quarrels. Last year I booked a table in the restaurant and arranged a romantic candle light dinner for him and my mom. He felt very nice. This year too I am planning to do something special on a father' s day, may be a movie tickets or a nice book. I still have to think on it. I liked the idea of gifting a library membership. I think I will do some research and find out the best library in my town. Shamit replied. Father' s day is like just another day in my life. Many of my friends celebrate father' s day in special manner but I don’t. I do not need any special day to celebrate our relationship. Each day I greet my dad with smile. Each day we share and do lot of things together. On weekends we go on a drive together. I do not need any special occasion to gift him something. Whenever I feel like I stop by a shop and pick something nice for him. Just a week ago I bought a lovely neck tie for him. I am not saying that father' s day is not a special occasion but for me each day is a father’s day. Prachi replied. Yes I do celebrate father´ s day. Each year I eagerly wait for this day to come so that I can surprise my dad with some gifts. Last year I wanted to gift him something that will make him understand how much he is important in my life. I share everything with my dad. Since my school days I have been sharing every chirpy and sad experience that happens with me. Last year I gifted him a branded perfume and a letter. In that letter I told him why I think he is a perfect dad. After reading the letter he sobbed and told me that he hates people who think sons are better than daughters. He also told me that I am an adorable daughter. Is there any need to tell that he loved the perfume?
