Hi all,

We are married 4 years back but we are struggelers and don' t want a child because our jobs were new, we want to give a good life & care for our child. Now we both are well settle in our jobs and in good situation. We want a child now and trying from last few months but not able to be regular with it and no sucsess.

Before trying my periods were normal 28 days but now they are very and sometimes early sometimes late. In between I also face harmonal imbalance and didn' t get period for a month.

I m 26 and my hubby is 37. We are not able to have sex more than once a week only sundays.
I have some questions, I hope you will solve it and guide me.

1. I read that by sonography we are able to know ovalution period, is it right? if it is then how many times I have to go for sonography?

2. Is our age is the problem?

3. I want to go naturally, is there any simple way? I am very eager for a baby.

Thanks a lot pkonj replied. If u r Based in Mumbai I can suggest one Dr Monika(don' t remember full name). My brother and his wife when in Mumbai had taken their treatment and as far as i remember their' s was same case as u r describing ..stress..lack of time..three yrs of waiting and trying etc etc. If i m not wrong again , the Doc was practising somewhere nr Tel Exchange at Versova which is near the famous ' Lokhandwala' area. Btw my brother' s case was successful and he is now shifted to Hyd with family.

- penguin replied. Dear Friend. You should buy an ovulation predictor kit. It will tell you about the two most fertile days of your month when you should try to get pregnant. It will also tell you when you ovulate, not sonography. You can buy the kit at a chemist. Hope this helps. Friend replied. thanks a lot friend replied. moonlight, I think you are not working or having lot of property of your father/husband, you never seen struggle so you are telling this. We both are working and unable to have time, I know it' s necessary to have regular sex in fertility period for baby. But I think you didn' t understand my question.

My question is that can we know exact ovalution period by sonography? so we can take leave from work and try more on those days, because we both get very tired after office work then travelling and other homely work. and 2nd is, is our age is fertile or not as my hubby and I have 12 years gap between us, is it a problem?. and any other easy way to know the exact fertile period, that' s all. Babies r not made is factories that too at our convinience ...in your case sunday......please find the probebility of mid-period time falling on Sunday in next 10 years and try 2 select your convinient sunday Afriend replied. First of all stop thinking about this thing .The more u think the more tense u will get .Be relax .Nature takes it own time.
Secondly u can go for follicular study at any good Dr. Report on the clinic on the 5th day of the period .Then she will tell u when to come .By scan(seeing the size of the egg) the Dr. will tell u the right time to try for the baby.U will have to go for atleast 3-4 days regularly as they have tio monitor the size .
