Planning a Baby  Discussion Forum

I am 25 yrs old and my husband is 30.We got married two yrs back.Now we are planning for a baby.
I have got 28days cycle for menstruation.Date for my period was 6th june last month.Now its getting delayed.I had a bloated stomach.But i never felt tired or nausea.We went for a Home pregnancy test which was shown negative 3days back.So we went to a doctor and took a blood test which also showed negative.The doctor said it may be an earlier misscarrige.She told me to go for a ultrasound scan and tranviginal sonogram.In between i had a small pain like the ones i used to get during my menstruation.I dont know what is happening inside me,since my period is getting delayed.I feel very bad and depressed.

Please suggest whether i should go with the Ultrasound and TVS and does it mean that the first attempt failure is normal.Does anybody has the same experience? Tina replied. I went through the same problem as yours. My periods were delayed by 10 days without any symptoms of getting pregnant. Even home pregnancy test was negative. I went to the doctor, she got my urine sample checked to make sure. She told me,when you are trying to conceive, the stress can sometimes signal your brain that can lead to delayed periods. So don' t worry. The more stress you will have, less chances of brain sending the right hormone at the right time. anju replied. in my opionion u were not pregnant cos home test n your blood test shows negative. plus your breast should have felt heavy n u would have taste some metel in your mouth.i dont know how dr. said early mmc as then u should get period n should have passed blood clots by now. I think u have stressed your self must be thinking ahead of pregnancy or baby or may be of some other thing or must be doing some heavy jobs which might exhaust u n unbalance your body which result in delay periods there can be many reason for delay periods. clam down, relex go for ultasound to see if there is any other underlying problem, to just make sue everything is alright. n then u can start try again. take care n all the best
