Hi Hetal...thanks for your concern,He has improved a lot but not completly ok but I think he will be fine soon...
Can I start giving him curd and banana now as i had stopped during cold?
However there are some que. in my mind that I want to ask from you...
As he is suffering from constipation(he does potty everyday but with hard stools)the day I had started giving him solids, I have stopped giving him banana, cheese, apple but then condition is same..now yesterday only i have read somewhere on google that carrot too constipates and I am giving him carrot everyday in his veg soup...sometimes i feel bad that i have stopped giving him so many things that he liked the most as banana, cheese and still condition is same
Can carrot be the reason? shud I stop it?
I am giving him papaya, peach, spinach soup etc. but i dont know the cause of hard stools
the diet i am following(i have seen all ur previous posts and took help from that)is
6:30 bf then he will sleep and i left for my work
8:00am formula(5-6oz)
10:00am oatmeal mixed with milk(i catori)/avocado juice (mixed with milk)/cornflakes then he goes to sleep
12:00-12:30pm curd (1 catori)(which i am not giving him from last 8-10 days cz of cold)
2:00pm veg soup(bottle gourd,carrot,beans,peas,spinach)with tadka of jeera,little salt mixed with cheese/ghee
4:00pm formula(5-6oz)and sleep
6:00 formula and then i reached home around 7:00 and he will take breast milk and used to play ...at bedtime i will give him khichdi/ceralac/soup
in between he takes lots of water as i said before he just loves to drink water.
this is his diet from last 2 months..now i have started giving him cornflakes(mixed grains) he took that one day and the other day he vomit out the whole...the problem is that he does not take lumpy food at all..i tried boil potatoes also and he vomit out the whole...now i wanted to start something new but he does not like the lumpy food otherwise he is not a fussy eater
Is his diet seems ok to you?(i have stopped his cheese also i have seen on this board that cheese and ghee can cause constipation)
he is underweight too but as he is a active child his doc says it is okey.
pls suggest wat else i can start for him.
your suggestions are heartly welcome and thanks so much for your support and suggestions as i am living alone and he is my first child and i didn' t 9 anythin..i am learning things from this board only and people like you here are really appreciable...thanks to you na d indiaparenting board :)
